DEC Myanmar Earthquake Appeal

A serious earthquake has hit Myanmar with the impact likely to be devastating. Through the Church, we can provide emergency help.

Donate now

Following the devastating earthquake in Myanmar, CAFOD is responding through the Church with vital aid.

By holding a collection in your parish for CAFOD's Myanmar Earthquake Appeal, you will be helping to provide water, food, solar lights and mosquito nets to families affected by this disaster.

Your parish's support and prayers are desperately needed.

3 ways your parish can help

  1. Hold a collection after Mass - Download our Myanmar Earthquake Appeal poster and have a short announcement read out at Masses. You can also order emergency collection envelopes for parishioners to Gift Aid their donations.

  2. Pray for Myanmar - Come together as a parish to pray for the all those affected by the earthquake.

  3. Share the appeal with your parish - If you are unable to hold a collection, please still include a notice in the newsletter asking people to donate. To set a fundraising target and to keep track of your parish's generosity, you can set up a parish fundraiser below. All donations will come straight to CAFOD so all you have to do is share the link.
