Payroll Giving is a simple way for you to give as you earn to charity through your pay packet. It is sometimes called Give As You Earn.
A Payroll Gift to CAFOD can give lifesaving help – like food, water and shelter – to families in urgent need.
Payroll Giving is a tax-efficient way to give
Payroll Gifts are deducted from your pay before tax. It is a way of giving money to charity without paying tax on it.
If you are a basic rate taxpayer, each £1 you give will cost you only 80p from your net pay.
If you are a higher rate taxpayer, Payroll Giving is even more tax-efficient, as each £1 you give will cost you only 60p from your net pay.
