400 schools sign up for Big Lent Walk

With just under 3 weeks to go until the start of Lent, over 400 Catholic schools have signed up for CAFOD’s Big Lent Walk challenge and the charity is hoping for a groundbreaking Jubilee year with registrations already outpacing levels from previous years.

Hundreds of schools across England, Scotland and Wales are committing to walking 200km over 40 days to raise much-needed funds to tackle global poverty and create a fairer, greener world.

All are welcome to take part, and there’s still time to join in the fun. So whether your school has speed walkers, dog walkers or leisurely strollers, put your best foot forward together and sign up for the Big Lent Walk.

By registering through the CAFOD website schools will receive a Welcome Pack with stickers, fundraising guide and event poster.
